Job summary

Sun Pharma Laboratories Ltd. is seeking a Utility Supervisor to oversee operation, maintenance, and performance of plant utility systems at the Bari Brahmana facility.

You will manage boilers, chillers, HVAC, DG sets, water treatment, and electrical utilities to ensure continuous production support and regulatory compliance. The role requires 1–3 years in utilities, a B.Tech or B.E in Electrical/Mechanical, and strong communication and technical skills.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in plant utilities or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (B.Tech) or B.E in Electrical/Mechanical.
  • All gender candidates eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the operation and maintenance of plant utility systems and equipment.
  • Monitor boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, air compressors, DG sets, water treatment plants, and other utilities.
  • Plan and oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
  • Ensure uninterrupted utility supply to production and facility operations.
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, maintenance, quality, and safety departments.
  • Monitor utility performance, energy consumption, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain utility logbooks, maintenance records, calibration reports, and operational documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, safety regulations, environmental standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Supervise utility technicians, contractors, and maintenance personnel.
  • Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure availability of utility consumables, spare parts, and maintenance resources.
  • Support equipment qualification, validation, and regulatory audits.
  • Promote workplace safety, energy conservation, and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Prepare utility performance reports, maintenance schedules, and MIS.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance utility reliability and operational efficiency.
