Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise India Private Limited seeks a Senior UI Architect to lead the architecture and development of scalable, cloud-native web applications. The role focuses on React and TypeScript, micro-frontend frameworks, and design systems to ensure a consistent user experience across GreenLake services.

You will drive AI-enabled development practices, secure and high-performance interfaces, and CI/CD automation while mentoring multiple engineering teams in a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Typically 10-15 years of software engineering experience.
• Significant experience designing and delivering modern web applications and enterprise-scale cloud platforms.
• Proven track record of leading complex technical initiatives and influencing engineering strategy across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and development of scalable, cloud-native web applications and frontend platforms using modern technologies such as React and TypeScript.
• Define and evolve micro-frontend frameworks, design systems, component libraries, UI shells, and shared platform capabilities for consistent UX across GreenLake services.
• Drive adoption of AI-enabled software engineering practices across design, development, testing, documentation, and release processes.
• Design secure, reliable, and high-performing user experiences integrated with cloud services and enterprise identity platforms.
• Establish engineering standards, architecture guidelines, quality practices, and CI/CD automation to improve delivery velocity and software quality.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and influence platform architecture, technology roadmaps, and long-term engineering strategy.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration across multiple engineering teams.

What you need to bring

• Education and Experience Required Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Typically 10-15 years of software engineering experience.
• Significant experience designing and delivering modern web applications and enterprise-scale cloud platforms.
• Proven track record of leading complex technical initiatives and influencing engineering strategy across multiple teams.

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python or similar technologies.
• Deep expertise in React, modern frontend architecture, component-driven development, and platform engineering.
• Experience building cloud-native applications and integrating with REST and GraphQL services.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and modern software engineering practices to improve productivity and quality.
• Capable of designing infrastructure as Code: Author, maintain, and scale clean, modular Terraform configurations to manage all frontend infrastructure components (Route 53, ACM, WAF, CloudFront, S3).
• Strong understanding of software design principles, development methodologies, and platform integration patterns.
• Experience with application security, identity and access management, authentication, authorization, and secure software development practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to engineering and business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, drive innovation, and serve as a technical leader across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with emerging AI technologies and intelligent software development workflows.
• Experience building shared platform capabilities, developer productivity solutions, or enterprise frameworks.
• History of delivering innovative solutions that create measurable business value.
