We are looking for an Investment Coach with working knowledge of mutual funds and investment fundamentals to engage clients, analyze their portfolios, and guide them towards suitable investment opportunities. This role is suited for candidates who already understand core investment concepts and can hold informed conversations with clients about their money.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Make 250+ dialed calls per day to potential and existing clients to generate leads and drive investment conversations.
- Achieve approximately 3 hours of talk time daily, focusing on understanding client requirements and discussing investment opportunities.
- Drive monthly and quarterly business targets through proactive client outreach and effective conversion of prospects.
- Identify opportunities to generate additional investments from existing clients based on their financial needs.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through regular and meaningful engagement.
- Understand clients' financial goals, investment preferences, and risk appetite
- Provide personalized guidance to help clients make informed investment decisions.
- Conduct regular portfolio discussions and proactively engage clients based on evolving needs.
Investment Analysis & Advisory
- Explain fundamental investment concepts to clients clearly including Equity, Debt, and Bonds, and how these differ from traditional instruments like Fixed Deposits.
- Guide clients on the different types of equity funds (large-cap, mid-cap, small-cap, flexi-cap, sectoral/thematic, etc.) and help them understand which suits their goals.
- Recommend suitable mutual fund investment opportunities aligned with clients' financial goals and risk profiles.
- Educate clients on disciplined investing, diversification, and long-term wealth creation.
- Stay updated on market trends, mutual fund products, and investment strategies.
Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in financial services, mutual funds, insurance, or banking.
- Prior experience in telesales, client relationship management, or portfolio-related conversations is preferred.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, or a relevant discipline.
Experience
- Freshers to candidates with up to 1 year of experience in sales, telecalling, customer service, or a related field.
- Prior experience in financial services is a plus but not required.
Mandatory Certification
- NISM Series V-A: Mutual Fund Distributors Certification is mandatory. Certified candidates will be preferred; others must obtain certification within the required timeline.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Working knowledge of investment fundamentals, including:
What Equity, Debt, and Bonds are.
Different types of equity funds and their risk-return
characteristics.
How mutual funds differ from Fixed Deposits and other traditional savings instruments.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage

- Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Saturday: Alternate Saturdays working
- Weekly Off: Sunday fixed off
