Job summary

Grow More Consultants in India seeks a detail-oriented Underwriting / Risk Assessment professional to evaluate loan applications, assess creditworthiness and identify risks in line with credit policies.

You will review income documents, bank statements, bureau reports, verify information, perform credit underwriting, and make approval or rejection decisions within your authority while ensuring compliance and timely processing.

Responsibilities

• Review loan applications and customer profiles.
• Analyze income documents, bank statements, financials, and bureau reports.
• Evaluate creditworthiness and repayment capacity.
• Conduct credit underwriting and risk assessment per policy.
• Check FOIR/DTI, LTV, eligibility and other credit parameters.
• Identify credit, fraud and repayment risks.
• Verify information and investigate discrepancies.
• Make approval, rejection or recommendations within authority.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Credit and Collections teams.
• Maintain records of underwriting decisions and documents.
• Monitor early warning indicators and high-risk cases.
• Escalate exceptions to the appropriate authority.
• Maintain turnaround times and quality for processing.
• Support portfolio/risk analysis and reporting as required.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Underwriting / Risk Assessment professional responsible for evaluating loan applications, assessing creditworthiness, identifying potential risks, and ensuring lending decisions are made in accordance with the company's credit policies and risk guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess loan applications and customer profiles.
• Analyze income documents, bank statements, financial statements, bureau/CIBIL reports and other supporting documents.
• Evaluate customer creditworthiness, repayment capacity and overall risk profile.
• Conduct credit underwriting and risk assessment as per company policies.
• Check FOIR/DTI, LTV, eligibility and other applicable credit parameters.
• Identify credit, fraud, documentation and repayment risks.
• Verify customer information and investigate discrepancies or unusual transactions.
• Make approval, rejection or recommendation decisions within assigned authority.
• Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Credit, Collections and Verification teams.
• Maintain accurate records of underwriting decisions and supporting documents.
• Monitor early warning indicators and highlight high-risk cases.
• Escalate exceptions and high-risk applications to the appropriate authority.
• Maintain turnaround time (TAT) and quality standards for case processing.
• Support portfolio/risk analysis and periodic reporting as required.
