Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center India is seeking an Associate to join the UK Private Client Compliance team. You will engage with clients to deliver tax compliance services, focusing on private clients, and work within a team that delivers comprehensive tax solutions.

The role emphasizes learning, client engagement, and development of technical knowledge in firm services and technology resources, with opportunities to build client connections and contribute to tax planning initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor in Accounting or Master in Commerce required.
  • At least 1 year of experience.
  • English oral and written proficiency required.
  • Preparation of UK HMRC tax returns for UK HNW and Partner clients/Trust returns.
  • Identification and documentation of issues and preparation of client letters.
  • Data checks on a client's tax return information and highlighting missing information.
  • HMRC checks regarding tax payments for the appropriate tax year.
  • Communicating with team members via various methods.
  • Carrying out ad hoc tasks including calculations, research and data analysis.
  • Using the technology and systems to record progress.

As a UK Private Client Compliance - Experienced Associate, you will engage with clients to deliver tax compliance services, focusing on the unique needs of private clients. Within our Tax practice, you will be part of a team that provides comprehensive tax compliance services, helping clients navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions. This role offers the chance to work directly with clients, enhancing your understanding of their needs and building meaningful relationships.
As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources. What You Must Have
  • At least a Bachelors degree in the following field of study: Accounting or Masters in Commerce
  • At least 1 years of experience
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required
  • Preparation of tax returns within the relevant time for the UK HNW and Partner clients/Trust returns.
  • Identification and documentation of issues and preparation of client letters.
  • Carrying out the initial data checks on a client's tax return information and following a set process to highlight any missing information
  • Carrying out HMRC checks regarding tax payments made for the appropriate tax year
  • Communicating with members of the team via a variety of methods
  • Carrying out ad hoc tasks when requested, including calculations, research and data analysis
  • Using the technology and systems in place to record the progress of work.
  • Working as part of the wider team to complete the required volume of work in the busy season.
