Job summary

Mount Talent Consulting Pvt Ltd. seeks an experienced UK Audit professional to deliver and review audit files for UK engagements from Delhi. You will lead planning, review junior work, and ensure high-quality, timely delivery while managing budgets and deadlines.

The role requires strong knowledge of ISA methodology, IFRS/UK standards, and excellent English communication, with a focus on mentoring junior staff and maintaining professional skepticism.

Qualifications

• Must have professional qualification (CA/ACCA/M.Com or equivalent).
• 3+ years of experience delivering and reviewing UK audit files.
• Excellent English written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and review UK audit files across engagements.
• Prepare audit planning and review work completed by junior team members.
• Identify and address key audit risks with proper conclusions and evidence.
• Own timely, high-quality delivery of allocated audit files.
• Monitor deadlines and budgets, escalating risks or overruns when needed.
• Apply data analytics to strengthen audit procedures and efficiency.
• Coach and mentor junior team members with feedback.
• Drive continuous improvement in audit quality, processes and delivery.
• Collaborate with UK engagement teams on technical or quality matters.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver and review UK audit files across multiple engagements.
• Prepare audit planning and review work completed by junior team members.
• Identify and address key audit risks, ensuring appropriate conclusions and evidence.
• Own the accurate, timely and high-quality delivery of allocated audit files.
• Monitor deadlines and budgets and escalation risks or overruns proactively.
• Apply data analytics to strengthen audit procedures and improve efficiency.
• Coach and mentor junior team members and provide constructive feedback.
• Drive continuous improvement in audit quality, processes and delivery.
• Work closely with UK engagement teams and escalation technical or quality matters promptly.
• Maintain professional skepticism, confidentiality and compliance with GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What We’re Looking For

• CA / ACCA / M.Com or equivalent professional qualification.
• 3+ years of experience delivering and reviewing UK audit files.
• Strong knowledge of ISA methodology, IFRS and UK accounting standards, including FRS 101 and FRS 102.
• Experience in a professional services, audit or outsourced audit environment.
• Confident use of audit software and data analytics tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and professional judgment skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Confidence working with UK-based engagement teams.
• A strong focus on quality, deadlines, budget discipline and client service.
• Experience mentoring, coaching or reviewing junior team members.
