Job summary

EY is seeking a Data Insights Executive to enable data-driven decision-making across the UKI Client & Industries team. You will leverage Power BI, Alteryx, and Power Platform to deliver insights, develop dashboards, and automate processes that enhance operational efficiency.

You'll collaborate with business leaders to align data initiatives with regional priorities, create reports and visualizations, and enable data‑driven digital transformation across EY's ecosystem.

The Data Insights Executive serves as a strategic enabler of data-driven decision-making and digital transformation across UKI Client & Industries team. This role is responsible for delivering business-relevant insights and innovative digital solutions by leveraging advanced analytics, Microsoft 365 tools, and Copilot capabilities.

Acting as a bridge between technology and business strategy, the Data Insights executive ensures that data is transformed into actionable intelligence, fostering operational excellence and driving measurable business outcomes.

Your key responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, data-driven insights through analytics and visualisations to support informed business decision-making.
• Support digital transformation initiatives by leveraging Microsoft 365, Copilot, and automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and leaders to align data and digital initiatives with business priorities and regional objectives.
• Communicate insights clearly and effectively through well-structured reports, dashboards, presentations, and professional stakeholder communications.
• Support leadership decision-making through timely and accurate reporting, trend analysis, and actionable insights.
• Design, develop, and maintain business applications using PowerApps (Canvas) to support operational and business requirements.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Dataverse, SharePoint, Excel Online, and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Collaborate closely with MSM, BD, BMC, FMT, Operations, and other relevant teams to develop effective and user-centric solutions.
• Support user adoption through training, documentation, knowledge sharing, and ongoing assistance.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and Alteryx-based ETL workflows to strengthen data-driven reporting and decision-making

• Demonstrates good proficiency in analytics platforms and visualisation tools such as Power BI, ThoughtSpot, or similar tools to transform data into meaningful and actionable insights.
• Skilled in developing interactive dashboards, reports, and visualisations that help stakeholders understand trends, patterns, and performance metrics.
• Applies analytical and basic statistical techniques to support business decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Good project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables effectively.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Graduate / Post-graduate - (Business Administration, Information and Data Science) with 3 - 6 years’ work experience in professional services industry having exposure working on applications and automation.
• Strong understanding of data analytics, best practices when developing solutions and experience in solution development, specifically utilizing Microsoft Power Platform.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
