Job summary

InvoiceBingo is offering a two-month, work-from-home internship for aspiring UI/UX designers. You will research trends, propose design improvements, and develop visual assets including banners and social graphics. You will create wireframes and prototypes, then review sites for UI/UX issues to improve usability.

Applicants should have strong communication skills and proficiency with design tools (Adobe CC, Figma, Canva). The internship provides a certificate and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Research the internet for inspiration and references for design ideas and trends.
• Provide practical design recommendations on fonts, colors, spacing, positioning, navigation, layouts, responsiveness, and visual hierarchy to improve usability and aesthetics.
• Apply design thinking to evaluate user journeys and identify confusing or inefficient interactions.
• Develop visual assets including website banners, social media graphics, promotional materials, illustrations, and other digital content.
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and proofs-of-concepts to visualize ideas before development.
• Review websites and applications to identify UI/UX bugs and usability gaps.

About the internship:

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Research the internet to seek inspiration and references for innovative design ideas and trends.
• Provide practical design recommendations on fonts, colors, spacing, positioning, navigation, layouts, responsiveness, and visual hierarchy to improve usability and overall aesthetics.
• Apply design thinking and common sense to evaluate user journeys and identify confusing, unnecessary, inconsistent, or inefficient interactions.
• Develop creative visual assets including website banners, social media graphics, promotional materials, illustrations, and other digital content.
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts to quickly visualize and validate new ideas before development.
• Review websites and applications with a critical eye and proactively identify UI/UX bugs, broken flows, responsiveness issues, alignment problems, missing states, inconsistent behavior, and usability gaps.
