Job summary

Papigen is seeking a UI/UX design intern for a 3 to 6 month paid remote internship in India. The role focuses on creating clear, inclusive interfaces for websites, landing pages, and campaigns, using Figma and AI-assisted tools to move from idea to draft.

You’ll collaborate with content, program, and outreach teams, gain mentorship, and build a portfolio that demonstrates your thinking and design process. Flexible hours and a remote team provide real-world experience.

Qualifications

• A real interest in design that carries empathy, inclusion, and impact.
• Hands-on with Figma (and any of Adobe XD, Canva, Sketch).
• Strong visual and layout sense.
• Grasp of UX basics: usability, accessibility (WCAG), responsive design.
• Comfort using AI design tools as part of your process, with judgement to keep or discard what they produce.
• A portfolio (personal or student work) showing how you think, not just how things look.
