Job summary

Keka Inc. is seeking a skilled UI Programmer II with 3-6 years of experience to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of our E-Cricket game.

You will develop, integrate and maintain gameplay UI using C++ and Unreal Engine, building responsive UI systems for multiple game modes and platforms on PC and consoles. You will collaborate with Design, UX, Art and Gameplay teams to turn designs into in-game experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate and maintain gameplay UI systems using C++ and Unreal Engine.

What we're looking for:

• 3-6 years of professional experience in game programming, with a strong focus on UI.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and experience with Unreal Engine.
• Hands-on experience developing UI systems for PC and console games is required.
• Good understanding of game UI architecture, input handling, navigation and UI performance.
• Experience with UMG, Slate or similar game UI frameworks.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving and optimisation skills.
• Good understanding of gameplay systems and how UI integrates with game logic.
• Experience working in a collaborative game development environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience working on shipped PC/console titles.
• Experience with multiplayer UI and networked gameplay.
• Experience with UI profiling and optimisation.
