Job summary

Magic EdTech is seeking a skilled API Automation Tester to join our QA team in Noida or Gurgaon. You will drive automation efforts using Java/Selenium across UI layers, architect and maintain test frameworks, and ensure reliable, scalable test execution.

Candidates should have 4–7 years of experience, with TestNG or Cucumber, MySQL integration with Selenium, Jira, and experience in CI/CD (GitLab, Maven–Jenkins, SonarQube, Saucelabs).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3.5 years of overall experience.
• Hands-on automation with Java/Selenium in UI.
• Experience with TestNG, Cucumber BDD, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with MySQL integration with Selenium.
• Experience with JIRA and Agile environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitLab, Maven/Jenkins, SonarQube, Saucelabs.
• Good communication and ability to work with onshore teams.

Essential Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3.5 years of the overall experience.
• Hands-on professional with solid automation experience using Java/Selenium experience in UI.
• Experience working on TestNG, Cucumber BDD, Hybrid, or similar frameworks.
• Should be able to understand the framework components and configure/update.
• Should be well versed with database (MySQL) integration with selenium.
• Should have experience in working on JIRA management tools.
• Good knowledge/ working experience implementing CI/CD (GitLab, Maven- Jenkins, SonarQube, Saucelabs) etc.
• Should have experience working on Agile projects.
• Effective communication – verbal & written.
• Should have experience in closely working with Onshore teams & customers.

Good to have

• Knowledge of UFT.
• API Automation using Rest Assured
