Job description

Mumbai, April 2026:Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited (UCSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Cochin Shipyard Limited, has invited online applications for Supervisory posts on a five-year contract basis.

The positions are based at UCSL units in Kochi, Malpe, or other project locations across India.

A total of 15 positions are available across three disciplines:

Eligibility Snapshot

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR ITI in relevant trades
• Experience:
  • Diploma holders: 7 years (last 2 years supervisory)
  • ITI holders: 15 years (last 3 years supervisory)
• Experience in shipbuilding, offshore platforms, engineering or marine industries preferred.
• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics OR ITI in Electrical/Electronics
• Similar experience requirements as Mechanical discipline.
• B.Com / BBM / BBA with minimum 60% marks
• Minimum 7 years experience in Finance & Accounts

Salary and Contract Period

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly pay that increases annually:

The contract duration is five years, subject to project requirements and performance.

Selection Process

The recruitment will be conducted in two phases:

• Objective test (40 marks)
• Descriptive test (40 marks)
• Phase II – PowerPoint Presentation
  • Work experience presentation (20 marks)

Final merit will be based on combined scores from both phases.
