Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Expected to operate Fixed-Wing and Multi-Copter UAVs in manual mode. (Apply only if you have hands‑on experience in manual flying.)
• Should be able to quickly grasp new concepts, apply them effectively, organize and schedule tasks, coordinate different work phases, and determine the right approach to resolve a variety of complex issues at the task level or at the project level with guidance.
• The UAV Pilot will work closely with a team of engineers and technicians and must demonstrate a positive attitude, adaptability, and strong communication skills.
• Responsible for maintaining daily pre‑ and post‑flight logs and inspection records.

Educational Background

• Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering (preferred)
• DGCA – Certified Drone Pilot (mandatory)

Preferred Experience

• Experience as a test conductor, test director, test pilot/navigator or similar
• Two or more years of experience as a UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) Pilot
• Expertise and working knowledge of the National Airspace System, Digital Sky and UAS operating rules and regulations thereof
• Experience in building and flying FPV drones is an additional advantage
• Must possess strong computer and documentation experience
• Should have good mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, and be able to proactively seek out answers for any equipment or work‑related issues that arise.
• Must be familiar with flying fixed‑wing UAV platforms of various sizes and be able to learn to fly the platform(s).
