Job summary

EY invites experienced SAP professionals to join our Hyderabad team to deliver end-to-end SAP FI/CO implementations and DRC-enabled financial compliance. You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to design, test, deploy, and support solutions tailored to regulatory requirements.

Strong emphasis on tax configuration and process improvement. The role requires deep SAP FI/CO expertise, prior full-cycle implementation experience, and excellent stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years SAP experience for B.Com/MBA (Finance) candidates
• 3–12 years SAP experience for CA-qualified candidates
• Minimum one full-cycle SAP implementation experience
• Strong experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO)
• Knowledge of GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, Tax Configuration, and DRC

Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and provide SAP FI/CO solutions aligned with best practices.
• Configure and support SAP FI/CO processes.
• Work on end-to-end implementation, testing, deployment, and support activities.
• Design and configure tax-related requirements including indirect and withholding tax.
• Support SAP DRC solutions for statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and external stakeholders to deliver project objectives.
• Prepare functional specs, conduct testing, and support UAT.
• Provide issue resolution and continuous process improvement recommendations.

Job Description – SAP DRC

Experience

• 6 to 12 years of relevant SAP experience for B.Com / MBA (Finance) candidates.
• 3 to 12 years of relevant SAP experience for CA-qualified candidates.

Educational Qualifications

• B.Com with MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution, OR
• Chartered Accountant (CA).

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and provide SAP FI/CO solutions aligned with best practices.
• Configure and support SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) processes.
• Work on end-to-end implementation, testing, deployment, and support activities.
• Design and configure tax-related business requirements including indirect and withholding tax processes.
• Support SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) solutions for statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and external stakeholders to deliver project objectives.
• Prepare functional specifications, conduct testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Provide issue resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvement recommendations.

Mandatory Skills

• Minimum one full-cycle SAP implementation project experience.
• Strong experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO).

Good knowledge of:

• General Ledger Accounting (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Bank Accounting
• Tax Configuration
• Knowledge and/or hands‑on experience with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC).
• Understanding of financial closing and reporting processes.
• Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and end-user support.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Knowledge of country‑specific tax and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Exposure to electronic invoicing, statutory reporting, and compliance processes.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead discussions with business stakeholders.
