Job summary

Sulzer in Pune, India is seeking a dedicated Treasury Team Member. In this role, you will influence various treasury functions, ensuring financial operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities include managing invoices, performing sanity checks, executing bank reconciliations, and working with financial data in a global team. Candidates should have a degree in finance or accounting, along with 2-7 years of experience in a global environment.

• Experience in a global work environment is a must.

Responsibilities

• Operationally support the financing programs with invoice collection and accounts payable oversight.
• Regularly perform sanity checks on reported balances and loans from subsidiaries.
• Execute regular bank account checks and perform reconciliation.
• Align and analyze reported figures from different treasury tools.
• Collect, sanitize, correct, and upload transactions from subsidiaries.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and manage databases.

Skills

Fluency in written and spoken English

Excellent command of MS Excel

Knowledge of treasury reporting

Knowledge of BI tool Qlik

Education

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent experience

Certification in treasury, corporate finance or AR/AP management

About The Role

In the role (Probation, 6 months), you will be a member of the Group Treasury Team Pune and in charge of various treasury topics. You will work in a global team of treasury professionals with specific responsibilities, and you will assume regular as well as ad-hoc tasks.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

• Invoice Management: Operationally support the financing programs with invoice collection, accounts payable oversight, reports to service providers and banks and constant communication to Group Treasury
• Regular balance sanity & checks: Regularly perform sanities on reported Balances and loans from subsidiaries, report findings to Group Treasury
• Bank Account Management: Execute regular bank A/Cs & signatory rights check and perform the bank A/C reconciliation.
• Regular Sanity Checks: Aligning and analyzing the reported figures between different treasury tools.
• FX/Loan Management: Collect, sanitize, correct, and upload transactions from subsidiaries into the treasury management system.
• Knowledge of Intercompany reconciliation & Intercompany netting.
• Ad-hoc tasks, initiatives & database management.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent experience
• Certification in treasury, corporate finance or AR/AP management would be a plus.

Job Experience

• Minimum experience of 2-7 yrs. in corporate treasury, banking or industrial company. Experience in global work environment is a must.

Knowledge Requirements (professional, Technical, Language)

• Fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
• Excellent command of MS Office especially with MS Excel
• Knowledge of treasury reporting
• Knowledge of BI tool Qlik is a plus
