Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. Bengaluru is seeking a Research Associate in our Finance team to define, refine and deliver goals for macro research and analytics.

You will develop quantitative analytics for balance sheet and macro research, build dashboards, automate reports, and expand models, with emphasis on Python and Excel and near real-time data delivery. This role requires strong communication and flexibility with shifts across the EMEA region.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience developing and maintaining analytics tools.
• Strong academic background with a degree in engineering, physics or other quantitative background.
• Strong programming skills: Python is a must.
• Strong Excel skills: Must have built dynamic dashboard/screeners.
• Experience in automation.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Should be flexible with EMEA shifts.

Responsibilities

• Develop quantitative analytics to support the balance sheet and macro research in close conjunction with treasury departments of other Lines of Business.
• Build an analytical framework and infrastructure for Treasury and Fed balance-sheet forecasting; expand the existing suite of internal models to forecast firm assets and liabilities; and define the top‑down distribution by line of business.
• Develop dynamic screeners/dashboard and report automation for end-to-end delivery.
• Support creation of both ad-hoc and systematic tools for large dataset analytics.
• Build python based automated solution for data gathering from multiple sources and develop dynamic reports.
