WPP is on a global transformation journey, and this is an opportunity to join and take the lead on the newly established Group Treasury shared service center (SSC).
You will take accountability for and centralize existing work done in the regional Treasury functions ensuring detailed process documentation and SOX compliant controls are always in place to run back-office processes supporting the Global Treasury team and its regional Treasurers across 110+ countries of operation. Driving best in class behaviors in managing trade lifecycle activities, including confirmations, settlements, reconciliations, reporting, and exception resolution. Ensure compliance with regulatory, policy, and control requirements, maintain treasury documentation and bank account records, support KYC and mandate management, and drive operational excellence through stakeholder support, process improvements, audits, and governance activities. This role will be reported to the Treasury Back-office Manager , key responsibilities are: Process interbank and corporate FX transactions accurately and within market cut-off times. Manage trade lifecycle activities, including confirmations, settlements, reconciliations, and exception handling. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of trades and lifecycle events to trade repositories. Oversee trade confirmations (SWIFT/manual) and netting with counterparties and global banks to reduce settlement risk Monitor trade matching platforms and resolve unmatched transactions promptly. Maintain treasury documentation, client and counterparty records, bank account and mandate data, and oversee account changes and KYC compliance. Deliver high-quality service and support internal stakeholders and treasury partners. Drive process efficiencies, reduce manual effort, and promote operational excellence. Supporting Treasury Transformation Project and IHB regarding core Treasury Payments - Derivative Confirmations Specialist to manage treasury financial transactions, ensure accurate settlement, with end-of-day control reporting for verification of trade confirmations. General Computer Controls (GCC) to be done monthly for Group Treasury Supporting, maintenance and operational improvements in IT2 (ION Treasury management system). Support audits, compliance reviews, regulatory requests, and audit data reporting while ensuring adherence to Treasury Policy, SOX controls, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards.
