Job summary

EY GDS India, transitioning and project management experts in a global delivery network, seeks a Senior Associate for Transition Management. You will lead planning, knowledge transfer, risk mitigation, and stakeholder coordination to ensure smooth transitions across environments.

The role requires 5–8 years of experience, strong communication and documentation skills, and familiarity with ITIL concepts. A Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, operations management, or related fields is required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with Transition and/or Project Management with knowledge around IT industry and ITIL concepts
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT, Operations Management, or related field.
• 5–8 years’ experience in transition or related roles
• Familiarity with ITIL concepts and service transition frameworks

Responsibilities

• Transition Execution Support: assist in preparing transition plans, schedules, and documentation; track readiness deliverables and ensure completion
• Operational Readiness Validation: support validation of deployment readiness, monitoring/alerting setup, backup/recovery readiness
• Ensure knowledge articles, SOPs, and training materials are prepared
• Coordination & Follow-ups: follow up with application, infrastructure, and testing teams for readiness closure; track defects, risks, and action items
• Documentation & Reporting: maintain transition documents (runbooks, checklists, acceptance artifacts) and prepare status reports, dashboards, and updates
• Support ELS/Warranty: assist during early life support phase, track incidents and ensure smooth stabilization
