Job summary

Apex Group seeks a seasoned governance and investor operations professional to support our India Global Service Centre. You will collaborate with onshore teams, product, technology and leadership to deliver high‑quality investor services, reporting, governance and oversight.

You will lead governance, incident management, risk controls and automation initiatives, ensuring policy adherence and audit readiness across client funds.

Qualifications

• Provide end‑to‑end governance and policy adherence across investor reporting.
• Oversee incident management, risk controls and audit readiness.
• Lead training and capability building within teams and ensure efficient resourcing.
• Drive automation and process improvements within TA operations.
• Manage cash reconciliations, AML escalations and investor activity review.

Responsibilities

• Oversee key client/investor reporting produced by GSC with sign-off authority.
• Ensure governance and control standards are maintained; audit readiness.
• Lead client service delivery, and engagement with senior onshore stakeholders.
• Guide annual external audits, manage auditor interactions and outcomes.
• Attend client calls/board meetings and support RFP activities as needed.
• Sponsor adoption of advanced technology and digital tools in TA operations.

Role Summary

This role supports APEX Fund Services’ global Investor Solutions operations from the India Global Service Centre (GSC). The incumbent will partner closely with onshore client teams, product, technology, and internal stakeholders to deliver high‑quality investor services, reporting, governance, and oversight.

Job Specification: Governance, Oversight & Review

• Provide oversight and sign‑off on all key Client/Investor reporting produced by GSC.
• Ensure end‑to‑end governance, including policy adherence, operational controls, and audit readiness.
• Oversee training strategy, capability building, and continuous development across teams.
• Partner with GSC and global leadership to ensure efficient resourcing, structure, and productivity.
• Drive culture of risk management, operational excellence, and proactive issue mitigation.
• Ensure full implementation and monitoring of Incident Management, including root‑cause analysis and remediation.
• Identify strategic control gaps, systemic risks, and recommend enhancements.
• Lead initiatives to streamline operational processes, increase efficiency, and leverage automation.
• Oversee oversight of cash reconciliations, AML escalations, and investor activity exceptions.
• Ensure Group Policies, Procedures, and Checklists are consistently implemented across teams.

Client Service & Engagement

• Ensure outstanding service delivery for global clients through strong operational leadership.
• Act as senior escalation points for client, investor, and regulatory matters.
• Build strong partnerships with CRM, Product, Technology, Sales, and senior onshore stakeholders.
• Ensure SLAs, KPIs, and quality metrics are consistently met or exceeded.
• Lead review of client fund documentation and oversee operational interpretation.
• Oversee fee/expense processing governance across client funds.
• Lead and coordinate TA components of annual external audits.
• Manage high‑level auditor interactions and ensure satisfactory audit outcomes.
• Attend Monthly/Quarterly client calls, present updates on performance, risk, and initiatives.
• Participate in client board meetings, due diligence visits, and RFP support as required.
• Sponsor adoption of advanced technology, automation, and digital tools within TA operations.
