Job summary

CorroHealth is hiring a Trainer-IPDRG to support Hyderabad or Noida locations. The role focuses on reviewing inpatient records, assigning ICD-10-CM/PCS codes, determining DRG classifications, and ensuring coding accuracy.

You will collaborate with physicians and clinical teams, conduct audits, and maintain turnaround time and productivity targets while staying current with coding changes.

Qualifications

• Any Graduate with relevant healthcare coding understanding.
• Certification preferred: CPC, CCS, CRC or COC.
• Experience in ICD-10 coding and DRG classification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient medical records for completeness and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review inpatient medical records and clinical documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM / ICD-10-PCS codes
• Determine correct DRG (Diagnosis Related Group) classification
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines, payer regulations, and hospital policies
• Identify and resolve coding discrepancies or documentation gaps
• Work closely with physicians and clinical teams for documentation clarification
• Validate billing data to ensure optimized reimbursement
• Conduct audits and quality checks on coded records
• Maintain TAT (Turnaround Time) and productivity targets
• Stay updated with industry coding changes and regulatory updates

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding system
