About the Role

Societe Generale Securities India Private Limited (SGSI) is a registered stock broker in India supporting middle/back‑office operational activities for listed derivatives & cash equity products in Mumbai.

Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence: Understand Indian capital market and SEBI regulatory framework; perform KYC/KRA, trade processing, custodian STP, bank reconciliations, and end‑of‑day activities; liaise with custody, settlement, client fund management, regulatory reporting; manage monthly MIS and reports; take corrective actions and ownership of issues.
• Client and Relational Excellence: Establish and maintain relationships with business lines, regional management, clients, and vendors; manage escalations with a client‑centric approach.
• People and Culture: Participate in team meetings, promote teamwork, and demonstrate SG core values of team spirit, innovation, responsibility, and client‑centric focus.
• Digital Innovation: Identify process improvement ideas, support efficiency initiatives, and adopt new technologies where appropriate.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Academic Background: Graduate/Post‑Graduation.
• Relevant Experience: NIL (internship experience in a similar field is preferred).
• Knowledge: Brokerage operations, local regulations of NSE & BSE, KYC matters, financial futures and options products.
• Skills: Proactive, self‑motivated, team player; effective verbal & written communication; presentation skills.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Language: Good command over written and spoken English.
