Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Math/Engineering in final year or completed.
• Strong logical thinking, analytical mindset, and eagerness to learn data concepts.
• Basic understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and Python or scripting.
• Strong understanding of Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Awareness of Azure fundamentals or cloud concepts.
• Familiarity with Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for data visualization.
• Knowledge of Git version control.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building, testing, and maintaining data pipelines under the guidance of senior data engineers.
• Work with structured and unstructured data formats such as CSV, JSON, and XML.
• Learn and apply basic concepts of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and Python or scripting language.
• Support in data transformation and integration tasks using Python or other scripting languages.
• Gain exposure to Azure fundamentals and basic cloud storage concepts.
• Collaborate with team members on academic-style projects, POCs, and small-scale data solutions.
• Document learnings, processes, and workflows to support knowledge sharing.
• Continuously develop technical and problem-solving skills through mentorship and hands-on practice.
