Job description

Preference for candidates who have Qualified National/State level competitive examinations such as CSIR/UGC/ICAR/DBT - NET or GATE-Life sciences/BET and having valid certifications.

0–2 years experience. Candidates having prior industrial expertise in microbiology/biotechnology.

Responsibilities

• Basic knowledge of fermentation of microbial culture including commonly used downstream procedures and willingness to work in shifts (including night shift) as and when required.
• Batch trials at 20–100 liter fermentation scale.
• Engineering and scaleup of the process.
• Collecting, preparing and testing samples and analysis.
• Scientific calculations and interpretation of results.
• Scientific calculations and interpretation of results.
• Studying the scientific literature and making a product development plan.
• Laboratory stock and resources management.
• A good team worker and should coordinate with peers and colleagues for completing tasks in time bound manner.

Additional Skill Set

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
