Job summary

JPMorganChase & Co. in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Trading Services Analyst to support the execution and processing of trade orders within our trading and portfolio management businesses.

You will contribute to operations, improve processes, and build data-driven insights under supervision while collaborating with internal stakeholders. The role focuses on improving accuracy and efficiency of trade activities, leveraging market product knowledge and automation tools, and driving improvements

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
• Ability to map and optimize process flows across front-to-back office functions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
• Willingness to work from 10:00 to 20:00 local time and adapt to market hours.

Responsibilities

• Upload market data to different risk management systems.
• Perform reconciliations against market sources.
• Conduct control reconciliations to verify trading positions from front to back office.
• Investigate and provide solutions to queries from settlements and confirmations.
• Produce management statistics.
• Complete operations projects and ad hoc requests for new initiatives and tech enhancements.

As a Trading Services Analyst within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in the execution and processing of trade orders, ensuring the smooth operation of our trading and portfolio management businesses. Your work will have a significant impact within your team, contributing to the overall performance of our trading services. Your responsibilities span from supporting order execution to settlement, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all trade activities. You will leverage your developing knowledge of market products and automation technologies to optimize our operating platform. Your ability to manage change and drive continuous improvement will be developed in this role, as you work to enhance our processes and systems. With a focus on collaboration, you will build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, while developing your influence and presentation skills to communicate data-driven insights and collaborate in impactful decisions. Your work will have a direct impact on our team's performance and the achievement of our short-term operational goals.

Job responsibilities

• Upload market data to different risk management systems
• Perform reconciliations against market sources
• Perform numerous control reconciliations to verify trading positions are accurate through front office to middle office reconciliations, middle office to back office reconciliations
• Investigate and provide solutions to various queries from settlements and confirmations
• Produce management statistics
• Complete operations projects and ad hoc requests to satisfy new initiatives and operations/technology enhancements (new system implementations)

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Strong logical/analytical mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo
• Process flow understanding, including ability to understand current flows and linkage between systems and think how the process can be improved/streamlined
• Availability to work from 10 am to 8 pm
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• VBA is a plus
• BA or BS degree preferred (either Economics or Industrial Engineer preferred)
• Previous experience in Finance industry (operations roles) is preferred
• Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes
