Job summary

Bootminds is seeking an experienced Tosca Automation Engineer with strong SAP testing exposure in Bengaluru. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions using Tricentis Tosca across SAP business processes.

You will collaborate with SAP functional teams to identify automation opportunities, develop reusable components, and support end-to-end testing. 6-7 years of testing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 6-7 years of overall experience in Software Testing with hands-on Tosca and SAP testing/automation.
• Proficient in designing and maintaining Tosca automation solutions for SAP processes.
• Experience with SAP GUI/Web-based apps and SAP Fiori testing using Tosca.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using Tosca.
• Automate SAP applications and end-to-end SAP processes with Tosca.
• Create reusable Tosca Modules, TestCases, Data, and Execution Lists.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for SAP systems.

TOSCA Automation Engineer - SAP

Experience

6-7 years of overall experience in Software Testing, with strong hands-on experience in Tricentis Tosca and SAP application testing/automation.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced TOSCA Automation Engineer with strong SAP testing experience to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions using Tricentis Tosca. The candidate will work closely with SAP functional and technical teams to identify automation opportunities, develop reusable automation components, and support end-to-end testing across SAP business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases using Tricentis Tosca.
• Automate SAP applications and end-to-end SAP business processes using Tosca.
• Analyze functional requirements and identify suitable test automation opportunities.
• Create and maintain reusable Tosca Modules, TestCases, Test Data, and Execution Lists.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for SAP systems.
• Work with SAP functional teams to understand business processes, interfaces, and integration points.
• Support automation for SAP transactions and workflows across relevant SAP modules.
• Develop and maintain data-driven and parameterized automation scenarios.
• Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of automation failures.
• Maintain automation scripts and ensure compatibility following SAP/application changes.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Contribute to establishing automation standards, best practices, and reusable frameworks.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation coverage, execution efficiency, and test quality.
• Support Tosca upgrades, environment changes, and integration with other testing tools where required.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to junior automation engineers.

Required Technical Skills

Tosca

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca.
• Strong knowledge of Tosca Commander / Tosca workspace concepts.
• Hands-on experience with:

SAP

• 3+ years of experience in SAP testing.
• Good understanding of SAP business processes and SAP GUI/Web-based applications.
• Hands-on experience in SAP GUI and SAP Fiori application testing.
• Experience automating SAP Fiori applications using Tricentis Tosca.
• Good understanding of SAP Fiori apps, navigation, workflows, and end-to-end business processes.
• Experience testing/automating SAP S/4HANA Fiori applications is preferred.
• Exposure to both SAP GUI and Fiori-based automation will be an added advantage.

Testing Skills

• Strong understanding of STLC and testing methodologies.
• Experience in functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Good understanding of defect lifecycle and test management.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to analyze requirements and derive effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Good understanding of test data management and environment dependencies.

Preferred Skills

• Tosca certification is preferred.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Exposure to Tosca API Scan / API testing.
• Experience with Tosca CI/CD integration and execution through pipelines.
• Exposure to Tricentis qTest or other test management tools.
• Knowledge of SQL/database validation.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience in automation framework design and optimization.
