The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of tiling experience, reads construction drawings, operates tile-cutting tools safely, and works well both independently and with a team in a fast-paced site environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Tile Layer/Tiler in the construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and layout plans.
• Experience installing ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, and other tile finishes.
• Skilled in using tile-cutting equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Cut tiles and shape them properly to fit around obstacles and in tight spaces.
• Form tile beds using concrete, plaster, mastic, cement, glue or mortar with tools such as screeds and trowels.
• Align tiles with straightedges, levels and squares for precise patterns.
• Prepare surfaces with waterproofing materials before tiling.
• Create decorative wall and floor designs.
• Cut, install, polish and surface granite and marble.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tile Layer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces and installing ceramic, marble, granite, and other types of tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. The role requires precision, craftsmanship, and a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut tiles and shape them properly to ensure they fit around obstacles and in tight corners and odd spaces using power and hand tools.
• Form tile beds using concrete, plaster, mastic, cement, glue or mortar utilizing tools such as screeds, brushes and trowels.
• Align tiles and straighten them with straightedges, levels and squares to ensure patterns are even and precise.
• Prepare various surfaces for tiling with waterproofing material or lath and by cleaning the surfaces properly.
• Create decorative wall and floor designs.
• Cut, install, polish and surface granite and marble and ensure accuracy during the installation process for lasting results.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Tile Layer/Tiler in the construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and layout plans.

• Gross monthly salary: 1,559.70 Euros - 2,079.60 Euros/1.75 - 2.33 lakh INR Gross per Month , depending on experience, qualifications, and licence categories.
