Job summary

Super Humans in Bengaluru is seeking an OSINT Analyst to join our brand protection operations team. You will run day-to-day investigations, verify threats, and report findings that protect real people and brands from defamation and impersonation.

You will use AI-driven detection tools alongside traditional OSINT methods, build threat profiles, monitor campaigns, and collaborate with journalists on hyperlocal signals.

When a founder is being deepfaked, when a brand is being impersonated, when a viral scam is spreading - we are the operations layer that catches it and shuts it down.

About the Role:

We are hiring an OSINT Analyst to join our brand protection operations team.

• This is an operations-heavy role. You will be running the day-to-day investigative work that keeps our clients protected - searching, verifying, structuring, and reporting on real threats as they emerge across the internet.
• Some days you'll be tracking a deepfake targeting an enterprise CEO. Other days you'll be mapping the digital footprint of a defamation network. Every day, your work directly protects a real person, brand, or business from real damage.
• You will be trained on both AI-driven detection tools and traditional OSINT methods. Both work together at Contrails - AI finds signals at scale, OSINT verifies and contextualizes them into intelligence that clients can act on.

Core Responsibilities:

1- OSINT Investigation Work across surface, deep, and dark web to identify threats targeting our clients. Public infrastructure data, social media profiles (SOCMINT), news archives, breach databases, forums, and messaging platforms.

2- Threat Monitoring Continuous monitoring for corporate impersonation attempts, deepfakes, defamation campaigns, and phishing infrastructure targeting our clients. Not passive - active tracking with defined SLAs.

3- Adversary Profiling Uncover connections between digital footprints. Map threat actors, coordinated networks, and repeat offenders across platforms.

4- Hyperlocal Intelligence Build and maintain networks with local journalists and regional news sources. Some of the most credible early signals never reach national media - they come from journalists on the ground who have the story before anyone else.

5- Intelligence Reporting Turn investigations into structured, client-ready reports. Findings, verified evidence, actionable recommendations. Reports that stand up in front of legal teams, platforms, and law enforcement.

6- Compliance Awareness Understand India's IT Rules 2026, MeitY guidelines, and platform-specific reporting mechanisms. Apply that knowledge to how investigations are conducted and reports are delivered.

What We're Looking For:

Must have:

• Open to a project based engagement with genuine potential to grow into a longer-term role

Bonus:

• Prior exposure to OSINT tools (Maltego, Shodan, Spiderfoot, Have I Been Pwned)
• Familiarity with dark web research and forum monitoring
• Background in journalism, cybersecurity, forensics, or investigative research
• Multilingual - Hindi + one regional Indian language is a strong plus
• Prior experience in a brand protection, trust & safety, or content moderation role
