The Design Engineer is an employee in charge of the basic design of the products of the Energy Sector of John Cockerill. He/She proceeds to the thermal and mechanical design of HRSG’s (Heat Recovery Steam Generators) for the proposals department and executes the detailed engineering during project execution from the award of an order to the provisional acceptance of the equipment. The Design Engineer is particularly responsible to ensure that the design of the product is compliant to the calculation request, to applicable codes and norms, to the contractual technical specifications and to internal standards as defined in the Design Process according to the QMS of the Energy Sector.
The Design Engineer has a specialist profile. He/She must be available for temporary missions, sometimes on short notice, including international travels.
