Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Bengaluru seeks an Associate – Product Management to guide products through lifecycle, from research to post-launch monitoring. You will partner with multiple divisions and engineering teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions and to innovate with purpose, leveraging AI and modern UX/UI.

You will work on risk and controls tooling, aligning with Compliance stakeholders and driving product strategy, backlog, and delivery across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience managing / launching technical products and projects.
• 3+ years of experience in Product Management, Operations, Change Management, or Project/Program Management roles, including strategy and launches.
• Experience owning a backlog and knowledge of product management, engineering, UX, and research; familiarity with financial markets and products.

Responsibilities

• Working with project sponsors and stakeholders to establish a clear product strategy and road map and to define and actively manage scope, plan, resources, budget, timeline, deliverables and dependencies.
• Collaborating with Engineering and Compliance stakeholders to translate product strategy into technical execution.
• Conducting user research: current state assessments, job shadowing, requirements gathering.
• Rationalizing user requirements across a broad cross section of Compliance and translating those requirements to user stories for delivery by development teams.
• Developing and managing the product backlog along with sprint execution and product launches.
• Designing, developing and maintaining a project’s reporting framework, and communicating with key stakeholders on progress.
• Coordinating the flow and prioritization of requests from all stakeholders and product backlog.
• Signing off on all functional delivery prior to production release.
• Understanding and managing impact across integrated applications.
• Maintaining connectivity with the user community: monitoring usage of the product post-launch and validating product performance.

Non Financial Risk & Controls Engineering is looking to fill a Product Manager role at the Associate level in Bengaluru.

Your Role

The Non Financial Risk & Controls Engineering Product Management team is responsible for guiding products through all stages of their lifecycle, including research, design, scoping, delivery, promotion and post-launch monitoring, tailoring solutions to meet the evolving needs of our users. As a member of our team, you will partner globally across multiple divisions and engineering teams to create end-to-end solutions. You will be able to innovate and incubate new ideas, and you will learn and share knowledge across the organization. You will have an opportunity to work on a broad range of projects, such as developing and scaling risk assessment tools, visualizing patterns of customer or employee behavior in an investigative UI; outlining the regulatory change management workflow and solution; deploying AI solutions; and automating Compliance workflows with new platforms and virtual assistants.

Responsibilities

You will help design our products and drive the delivery of Non Financial Risk & Controls Engineering projects. Your key responsibilities would include:
