Job summary

Loomlife is recruiting a Textile Design graduate from the National Institute of Design (NID) to join our Noida office. You will bring strong, hands-on experience in textile development to create original textiles and collections.

Expect to work on yarn selection, fabric construction, weave structures, and colour palettes, while collaborating with weavers and artisans to translate designs into high-quality textiles. The role requires travel to craft clusters and full-time presence in Noida.

Qualifications

• A degree in Textile Design from NID.
• 3–4 years of substantial practical experience in textile design and development, with a portfolio demonstrating work from concept to finished fabric.
• Strong understanding of handloom textiles, natural fibres, weaving, dyeing, printing, and surface techniques.
• Experience working with artisan clusters and translating traditional techniques into contemporary products.
• Attention to detail, ownership of execution, and willingness to travel to craft clusters.
• Ability to work full-time from our Noida office.
