Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies is seeking a seasoned QA Automation Lead for IoT/Smart Energy projects. You will drive end-to-end QA, design robust automation frameworks, and validate cross-network interoperability in Modbus, BACnet, and BLE.

You will mentor teammates, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure timely, high-quality releases across multiple projects. The role emphasizes hands-on automation across functional, regression, API, HMI, and web layers, with a focus on building scalable

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in QA Automation, IoT Testing, or Industrial Automation Testing.
• Experience with Smart Energy, Building Automation, or Industrial IoT products preferred.
• Strong knowledge of test planning, design, execution, and defect reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end QA activities for IoT and Smart Energy Metering projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for functional, regression, API, HMI, and web testing.
• Validate device communication and interoperability across Modbus, BACnet, and BLE.
• Perform test planning, test design, execution, defect tracking, and quality reporting.
• Optimize automation suites to improve execution efficiency and release timelines.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, developers, product owners, and project managers.
• Mentor team members, conduct knowledge transfer sessions, and support onboarding.
• Support multiple projects concurrently and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Analyze protocol/network logs and troubleshoot IoT device/gateway issues.
• Contribute to reusable automation assets and process improvements.

• 9. Analyze protocol/network logs and troubleshoot communication issues in IoT devices and gateways.
