Job summary

Coforge invites an experienced Test Manager to lead end-to-end testing for Airline PSS transformation projects. You will direct SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing while coordinating with business stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely delivery.

You will manage offshore and onsite teams, drive test automation, and implement governance across agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery models. Strong domain knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software testing with at least 5 years in test management.
• Strong expertise in Airline Passenger Service Systems (PSS) and related platforms.
• Experience with SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Proven leadership of distributed testing teams and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end test strategy, planning, execution, and governance for airline PSS implementations and enhancements.
• Manage SIT, UAT, Regression, Integration, Performance, and Production Validation testing phases.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, product owners, vendors, and development teams to define testing scope and acceptance criteria.
• Develop test plans, test schedules, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure testing deliverables meet quality standards and project timelines.
• Manage defect triage, prioritization, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
• Drive test automation initiatives and continuous quality improvement practices.
• Produce quality metrics, dashboards, and executive status reports.
• Lead geographically dispersed testing teams and vendor resources.
• Ensure compliance with airline regulatory and operational requirements.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager with strong expertise in Airline Passenger Service Systems (PSS) to lead end-to-end testing activities for large-scale airline transformation and digital initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of airline operations, reservation systems, departure control systems, and test management methodologies, with the ability to manage distributed testing teams and engage with business stakeholders.
