Job Summary

The Test Lead for Android plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions by planning, deploying, and managing testing efforts for Android applications. This position requires a strong understanding of both functional and technical aspects of the project to meet client and internal quality standards while fostering continuous improvement in testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. 1. Participate In Functional And Technical Discussions With Clients And Team Members To Understand Functional And Design Specifications, Identify Performance Concerns And Inconsistencies, And Prepare Automated Test Scripts Using Java And Related Android Testing Tools, Ensuring Robust And Efficient Testing Processes.
2. 2. Develop And Continuously Improve Automated Tests As New System Features And Enhancements Are Introduced, Leveraging Tools Such As Appium And Espresso, While Creating Work Plans And Monitoring The Work Schedule To Ensure Timely Delivery In Alignment With Defined Quality Standards.
3. 3. Create A Reusable And Scalable Test Automation Framework Using Tools Like Selenium And Junit, Develop Comprehensive Test Strategies And Plans, Maintain Test Data, And Submit Status Reports To Minimize Project Risks And Facilitate Closure Of Escalations.
4. 4. Guide And Mentor Qa Engineers In The Effective Use Of The Testing Framework, Enhancing Their Technical Capabilities And Productivity Through Knowledge Sharing And Hands-On Training.
