Job summary

Thales Group in Bengaluru seeks a Test Bench Engineer- Hardware System to design and develop hardware solutions, prepare schematics, and ensure manufacturing documentation meets industry standards.

You will perform hardware IVVQ, integrate test benches, and contribute to CAD wiring harnesses, BOMs, ICDs, and lab measurements using oscilloscopes and multimeters.

This role demands 7–12 years of experience and a hands-on approach in RoHS/REACH/IPC-610 IPC-620 compliance.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of hardware design experience required.
• Design schematics, electrical interfaces, wiring diagrams, and manufacturing documentation.
• Familiarity with RoHS, REACH, WEEE, CE marking, DO-160; IPC-610/IPC-620.
• Experience with COTS test & measurement equipment.
• Hardware IVVQ testing and qualification activities.

Responsibilities

• Elaborates requirements and supports test hardware design and development.
• Contributes to hardware architectural design and BOM/ICD generation.
• Performs CAD for wiring harnesses for racks/cabinets and interfaces.
• Develops technical construction files and maintenance manuals.
