Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a senior automotive cybersecurity specialist to lead threat analysis, risk assessment, and secure design across vehicle networks and telematics. You will implement AIS 189/190 compliant cyber security measures, perform pen tests, and drive PoC initiatives.

Ideal candidates have BE/ME with relevant certifications, strong knowledge of CAN/LIN/FlexRay/Ethernet, and hands-on experience in embedded security, TEEs, and cloud IAM.

Qualificações

• Threat analysis and risk assessments for automotive systems.
• Knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434 and SAE J3061 standards.
• Understanding of ISO26262, AUTOSAR and MISRA.
• Experience with automotive communication protocols CAN, LIN, FlexRay and Ethernet; MQTT and TCP/IP for telemetry.
• Strong diagnostics protocol experience (UDS).
• Knowledge of network security principles, encryption and key management.
• System-level debugging and troubleshooting in embedded vehicle security.
• Proficiency in embedded systems security and hardware security including secure boot and TEEs.
• Penetration testing and vulnerability assessment for automotive systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead TARA and risk assessment activities for automotive networks and systems.
• Contribute to cyber security strategy and roadmaps in line with Daimler Truck standards.
• Implement end-to-end cyber security for telematics and vehicle components with AIS 189/190 alignment.
• Identify attack paths, perform pen testing and validate security controls with stakeholders.
• Prepare PoCs, whitepapers and business cases to justify new verticals.
• Support board and OpCom materials with cybersecurity insights.

• Strong experience in Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA). Experience in conducting threat analysis and risk assessments specific to automotive systems. Ability to identify, evaluate, and mitigate cybersecurity risks in vehicle networks and systems.

• Deep understanding of Automotive Cybersecurity Standards and Protocols such as ISO/SAE 21434, SAE J3061.

• Understanding of ISO26262, AUTOSAR, and MISRA

• Understanding of automotive communication protocols like CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet. Understanding of MQTT, TCP/IP and other communication protocols used for telemetry.

• Strong Experience of diagnostics protocols like UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services).

• Knowledge of network security principles and practices.

• Experience with secure communication protocols, encryption, and key management.

• Experience with system-level debugging and troubleshooting.

• Proficiency in Embedded systems security used in vehicles.

• Knowledge of hardware security mechanisms, secure boot, and trusted execution environments (TEEs).

• Strong experience in Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Assessment: Experience in performing penetration testing on automotive systems. Familiarity with tools and techniques for vulnerability assessment

• Understanding of wireless communication technologies (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LTE) used in vehicles.

• Knowledge of IoT architectures and protocols. Experience in designing and implementing IoT solutions that connect automotive gateways to cloud infrastructure.

• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance requirements.

• Conception, identification and piloting of new methods, tools and processes for technology and product development through industry benchmarking and evaluation

• Nurture futuristic capabilities- Facilitate ideation workshops (design thinking, brain storming sessions) to build cybersecurity competencies.

• Deepen Practice with PoC/ PoV, Whitepaper and Business case doc on growth and sustenance of new verticals. Assist in preparation of Board /Opcom presentation documents for relevant approvals.

• Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or specific automotive cybersecurity certifications like ISO/SAE 21434
• Strong understanding of automotive cybersecurity requirements.
