Job summary

EY in Pune, India seeks a TechOps_ SAP FICO Senior Consultant to deliver functional support, maintenance and continuous improvement for FI/CO across global client environments. You will collaborate with business users and SAP teams to maintain stability and optimize processes.

The role involves change management, testing, documentation, incident handling and working in an onsite/offshore delivery model, with a focus on high-quality AMS services and end-to-end P2P and O2C processes.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years SAP FICO experience.
• AMS / Production Support / Global Delivery SAP S/4HANA Finance experience.
• Global delivery or offshore-onshore model experience.

Responsibilities

• Decision-making, optimize processes, manage resources, and oversee the team as needed.
• Allocate personnel, supervise tasks, ensure tools and support, and monitor performance.
• Analyze requirements and evaluate solution options.
• Support configuration and enhancements in SAP FI/CO.
• Coordinate with technical teams for development and testing; validate solutions.
• Support end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
• Monitor ticket queues; provide AMS support for global clients and participate in on-call shifts.
• Prepare functional specs and configuration documents; perform testing and audits.

The Opportunity

The TechOps SAP FICO Senior Consultant is responsible for providing functional support, application maintenance, incident management, enhancements, and continuous improvement for SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) solutions across global client environments. The role collaborates with business users, cross-functional SAP teams, and technical teams to maintain system stability, optimize business processes, and deliver high-quality support services.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
• Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.

Change Requests & Enhancements

• Analyze business requirements and evaluate solution options.
• Support configuration and enhancement activities within SAP FI/CO.
• Participate in design discussions and process improvements.
• Handle change requests and coordinate with technical teams for development activities.
• Validate solutions through testing and deployment support.

Testing & Documentation
