Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automobile Body Shop Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and restoring damaged vehicle bodies to manufacturer standards and ensuring a high-quality finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural and cosmetic body repairs on vehicles.
• Remove and replace damaged body panels, parts, and components.
• Use welding equipment, frame machines, and hand tools to realign vehicle frames and bodies.
• Sand, prime, and prepare repaired surfaces for painting.
• Work closely with estimators to determine the extent of damage and necessary repairs.
• Follow repair orders and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Ensure repairs are completed within the estimated time frame.
• Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations.
• Perform final inspections to ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in auto body repair preferred.
• Minimum 13 years of experience in an auto body repair shop.
• Proficiency in welding, dent repair, and the use of paint preparation tools.
• Knowledge of vehicle structural systems, safety systems, and repair techniques.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.

• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with frame straightening equipment and computerized measuring systems.
