Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services seeks an AI/ML engineer in Chennai to architect and deploy GenAI solutions, manage ML pipelines, and optimize AI workloads across GCP/AWS/Azure. The role requires hands-on experience with major frameworks, accelerators, and model architectures, plus strong problem solving and Linux infrastructure skills.

You will collaborate across teams to deliver scalable AI systems, troubleshoot issues, and apply best practices in model deployment and performance tuning.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of compute fundamentals including virtualization, OS, and containers.
• Experience with GCP, AWS, and Azure AI/ML services.
• Hands-on Generative AI/LLM experience with Vertex AI, Dialogflow, Gemini.
• ML model development and deployment.
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Jax, Ray, etc.
• Experience with TPUs/GPUs and model architectures (encoders, decoders, transformers).
• Troubleshooting code experience (2+ years in Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Go, JS).
• AIML experience (2+ years model development/deployment).
• Troubleshooting experience (3+ years diagnosis & issue resolution).
• Support methodology knowledge (case lifecycle, analysis).
• Ideally at least 3 years hands-on Linux infra.
