Job summary

Birlasoft ( India ) Limited is seeking a Technical Specialist-Enterprise Apps with 7–8 years of SAP Fiori/UI5 experience to design, develop, and implement Fiori solutions in S/4HANA environments. The role requires strong technical acumen and business understanding to drive UX transformation initiatives.

The candidate will work across Fiori development, S/4HANA integration, and administration, collaborating with ABAP teams and functional units to deliver scalable UX enhancements and performance

Qualifications

• 7–8 years SAP experience with at least 6+ years in SAP Fiori/UI5.
• Experience in 1–2 end‑to‑end S/4HANA implementations or upgrades.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / IT.
• SAP Fiori/UI5 certification – preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SAP Fiori apps using SAP UI5, OData, and SAP Gateway.
• Build and enhance standard and custom Fiori apps (Transactional, Analytical, Fact Sheets).
• Extend Fiori apps using extensibility frameworks and responsive design.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate requirements into apps.
• Configure Fiori Launchpad, catalogs, groups, and tiles; manage roles.
• Work with ABAP backend for OData services and performance optimization.
• Define architecture for Fiori implementations and ensure UX standards.
• Prepare technical docs, test cases, SIT/UAT support, and debugging.

Band – 5A

Location – Pune

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Fiori Consultant with 7–8 years of hands‑on experience in designing, developing, and implementing SAP Fiori/UI5 solutions in S/4HANA environments. The role requires strong technical expertise combined with business understanding to drive UX transformation initiatives and deliver scalable Fiori solutions.

Experience & Qualifications

• 7–8 years of SAP experience with minimum 6+ years in SAP Fiori/UI5
• Experience in at least 1–2 end‑to‑end S/4HANA implementations or upgrades
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / IT
• SAP Fiori/UI5 certification – preferred

Key Responsibilities

1. Fiori Development & Customization

• Design and develop SAP Fiori applications using SAP UI5, OData services, and SAP Gateway
• Build and enhance standard and custom Fiori apps (Transactional, Analytical & Fact Sheets)
• Extend standard Fiori applications using SAP‑recommended extensibility frameworks
• Develop reusable UI components and ensure responsive design

2. S/4HANA & Functional Integration

• Collaborate with functional teams (FI, MM, SD, etc.) to understand business requirements and translate into Fiori apps
• Enable and configure Fiori apps aligned with SAP S/4HANA business roles & catalogs
• Work closely with backend ABAP team for OData service development and performance optimization

3. Fiori Administration & Configuration

• Configure and manage Fiori Launchpad (FLP), catalogs, groups, and tiles
• Handle Fiori content activation and role‑based authorization setup
• Support embedded or hub deployment architectures
• Perform system configuration and troubleshoot Fiori‑related issues

4. Technical Design & Architecture

• Define solution architecture for Fiori implementations including integration with SAP BTP (if applicable)
• Ensure design adherence to SAP UX standards and performance best practices
• Participate in technical design discussions and solution reviews

5. Testing & Quality Assurance

• Prepare technical design documents, test cases, and user manuals
• Support SIT/UAT cycles and defect resolution
• Ensure compliance with coding standards and quality benchmarks

6. Support & Continuous Improvement

• Provide post‑go‑live support and resolve production issues
• Identify opportunities for UX enhancement and automation
• Drive continuous improvements in Fiori performance and usability

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in SAP UI5 and Fiori development
• OData services and SAP NetWeaver Gateway
• ABAP (basic to moderate level for backend coordination)

Hands‑on experience with

• Fiori Launchpad configuration and role management
• SAP S/4HANA environments

Knowledge of

• SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) – preferred
• CDS Views and Fiori Elements – good to have
• Understanding of integration with third‑party systems and middleware
