Fidelity International is seeking a Technical Specialist - Visualization in Gurgaon, India. You will own the BI/Analytics ecosystem, lead enterprise dashboard design, and drive governance, security and performance improvements across Power BI platforms.

You will collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to deliver scalable analytics, implement advanced data models, and mentor junior staff. The role offers a chance to shape enterprise-wide analytics strategy within a dynamic team.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, data warehousing, data visualization and enterprise reporting.
• Minimum 4–6 years hands-on with Power BI delivering enterprise-scale reporting and analytics.
• Proven leadership in end-to-end BI implementations, including requirements gathering, design, deployment and governance.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M) and data modeling.
• Strong dashboard design, UX/UI, wireframing and data storytelling skills.
• Experience administering Power BI Service—workspaces, apps, semantic models, dataflows, gateways, deployment pipelines.
• Experience with BI security and governance: RLS, OLS, workspace security, data privacy and compliance.
• Ability to optimize performance with DAX tuning, aggregations, refresh strategies and capacity management.
• Knowledge of BI governance, standards, release management and reporting lifecycle.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Implement enterprise security frameworks including Row-Level and Object-Level Security.
• Monitor and optimize performance using DAX, aggregations and refresh strategies.
• Mentor junior developers and analysts to improve team capability.

People Data Platforms & Solutions Team aims to build a trusted, secure, and scalable People Data Platform that delivers governed and reliable workforce data to enable informed decision-making, actionable insights, regulatory compliance, support AI capabilities and business growth. The team provides high-quality, reliable enterprise wide analytical solutions and insights to empower CPO stakeholders to make informed and impactful business decisions.

About your Role

This role is for a Technical Specialist who can understand functional, technical requirements and has the ability to understand the implications associated with the chosen technical strategy well aligned with the business context. The successful candidate would carry out reporting/visualization development/enhancement and work with a high performing team in an individual contributor role to implement BI and Analytical solutions. The successful candidate will be expected to interact with all levels of the business and technical community.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the end-to-end Business Intelligence and Analytics ecosystem, including dashboard development, workspace administration, governance, security, deployments, and ongoing platform support.
• Lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise-scale dashboards, reports, scorecards, and self-service analytics solutions using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Design dashboard wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and reporting frameworks to ensure intuitive user experience, stakeholder alignment, and effective data storytelling.
• Design and implement scalable semantic models using dimensional modeling techniques, ensuring consistency, maintainability, and optimal performance.
• Perform advanced data extraction, transformation, and preparation using Power Query (M Language) and collaborate with Data Engineering teams to build robust and scalable data solutions.
• Design, develop, and support end-to-end analytics data pipelines utilizing Snowflake, SQL, Python, and Power BI to enable reliable and scalable reporting solutions.
• Manage and govern Power BI Workspaces, Apps, Semantic Models, Dataflows, Gateways, and Deployment Pipelines across development, testing, and production environments.
• Implement and manage enterprise-grade security frameworks including Row-Level Security (RLS), Object-Level Security (OLS), workspace access management, data privacy, compliance requirements, and governance controls.
• Monitor and optimize dashboard, dataset, and semantic model performance using model optimization, DAX tuning, aggregation strategies, refresh optimization, and capacity management best practices.
• Identify opportunities to leverage Power Platform capabilities (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI) to streamline business processes, automate workflows, and deliver integrated analytics-driven solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, establish development best practices, and mentor junior developers and analysts to improve overall team capability and delivery quality.
• Take full ownership and accountability for BI deliverables, platform stability, stakeholder satisfaction, and successful execution of enterprise analytics initiatives.

About you

Essential Skills are:

• 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, Data Visualization, and Enterprise Reporting solutions.
• Minimum 4-6 years of hands‑on experience with Power BI, delivering enterprise-scale reporting and analytics solutions.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end BI implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, deployment, governance, and production support.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of dashboard design, UX/UI principles, wireframing, prototyping, and data storytelling.
• Hands‑on experience administering Power BI Service, including Workspaces, Apps, Semantic Models, Dataflows, Gateways, Deployment Pipelines, Capacity, and Refresh Management.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Experience implementing BI security and governance controls, including RLS, OLS, workspace security, data privacy, compliance, and access management.
• Expertise in dashboard, dataset, and semantic model performance optimization using DAX tuning, model optimization, aggregations, Performance Analyzer, and refresh optimization techniques.
• Experience establishing BI governance frameworks, development standards, release management processes, and reporting lifecycle best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
