Job summary

IQVIA in Bengaluru is seeking a Technology Project Manager to validate project scope, plan and schedule moderately complex initiatives, and apply standard delivery processes to ensure on-time, within-budget results. You will lead end-to-end programs from initiation to delivery, allocate resources, track progress, manage change, and coordinate with clients and stakeholders.

A strong technical background with Agile/Scrum experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 12-15+ years in project/program management with hands-on design, documentation, coding, unit testing, and deployment.
• 5+ years in Life sciences/Healthcare sector desirable.
• Scrum Master experience with budgeting and management.
• Experience with Microsoft platform apps: C#, JSON, SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, GIT and Agile frameworks.

Job Overview

Essential Functions

• Technology Project Manager, Validates the project scope, plans and schedules for moderately complex projects; adheres to metrics for project success and begins to suggest appropriate metrics; provides input to and applies standards (e.g. delivery process, roles and responsibilities, operational norms, compliance).
• Develops and implements projects and programs from initiation to delivery, including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control processes, testing, documentation, training, and on-time delivery within budget constraints.
• May facilitate client-facing interactions to understand client requirements, tailor project proposals accordingly, ensure clear communication, manage expectations, and address any concerns promptly
• Plans, develops, coordinates, and assists with project activities through all project phases; allocates, obtains, and manages resources and project management tools to achieve project objectives; and creates and implements assessment processes to enforce timely completion of programs in accordance with established standards and requirement.
• Often requires a technical background, including using the Agile development framework to complete overall process improvement and project management responsibilities.
• May oversee or assist in budgeting and invoicing activities to ensure financial accuracy and compliance,
• including tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and managing invoices.
• Identifies risks to program success and escalates to management as necessary.
• Manages project delivery process, scope, and costs of moderately complex projects under broad supervision; drives completion of the project.
• Manages stakeholder relationships; develops and executes communication plan.
• Manages change by identifying impacts of the project, building awareness and support for change within the organization, and contributing to development of training.
• Evaluates project results against success metrics; recommends or implements changes to processes, resources and solutions that improve productivity and end product.
• Consistently delivers established team reporting and guidance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
• 12 - 15 plus years of overall experience in project/program management, Hands-on experience in handling Design, documentation, coding and unit testing, code review, SIT, bug fixing, Issue troubleshooting, UAT support, Deployment, root cause analysis and enhancement..
• 5 or more years of working experience in Life science/Healthcare sector is desirable.
• Should have performed the role of a Scrum Master with a strong technical background and proven experience in budget planning and management. The ideal candidate should have 12–15 years of
• Good experience in working on applications on Microsoft platform, C#, JSON, SQL Server
• Hands-on experience in Entity Framework
• Knowledge on project budgeting and PM frameworks (Agile, Scrum) etc.
• Tools familiarity Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, GIT, etc.
