Job summary

Zensar Technologies seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of application development, modernization, and data engineering programs. You will oversee cross-functional teams of developers, data engineers, QA, BA, architects, and support engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of application development, modernization, and data engineering programs.
• Manage cross-functional teams including Developers, Data Engineers, QA, BAs, Architects, and Support Engineers.
• Drive project planning, budgeting, forecasting, resource management, risk mitigation, and governance.
• Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies and enterprise delivery standards.
• Track and report program KPIs, delivery health, budget, utilization, and business outcomes.
• Lead vendor consolidation initiatives to optimize costs and governance.
• Develop and execute transition plans for migrations from incumbent vendors.
• Manage knowledge transfer, shadow-support, reverse-KT, and stabilization phases.
• Establish transition governance, risk management, and service readiness frameworks.
• Ensure continuity of business operations during transitions with minimal disruption.
• Drive service transformation and operational efficiency post-transition.

Stakeholder & Governance Management

• Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and leadership.
• Conduct steering committee meetings, executive reviews, and program governance forums.
• Manage escalations, dependencies, risks, and change requests.
• Provide regular status reports, executive dashboards, and leadership updates.

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical oversight for solution design, architecture reviews, and production support governance.
• Drive application modernization, cloud adoption, automation, and AI-enabled productivity initiatives.
• Review technical roadmaps, delivery approaches, and quality standards.
• Support critical incident management and major release planning.

• Strong experience in vendor management, vendor consolidation, service transition, and managed services delivery.
• Experience handling multi-million-dollar programs, resource planning, and financial governance.
• Strong stakeholder management experience with client leadership and executive teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Certifications.
• Insurance, Brokerage, Risk Management, or Financial Services domain experience.
• Experience with Digital Transformation and Cloud Migration programs.
• Exposure to AI-enabled engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar productivity platforms.
• Experience managing global onsite-offshore delivery models.
