Job summary

Verdantas is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Pune to drive IT and digital initiatives through full lifecycle, leveraging standard tools, methodologies, and AI-enabled workflows. The role requires coordinating across IT, business units, and external vendors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery aligned to strategic objectives.

Ideal candidates have 8–12 years of PMO/DPMO experience, familiarity with ServiceNow, MS Project, Jira or similar tools, and the ability to work in US hours.

We at Verdantas, looking for a skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving projects through the full lifecycle—from intake and initiation through closure—while leveraging standardized tools, methodologies, and emerging digital capabilities, including AI-enabled and agentic workflows. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes aligned to business and IT objectives.

Responsibilities

Lead Complex IT & Digital Projects

• Manage end-to-end delivery of Verdantas initiatives within the DPMO, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and portfolio governance

Project Planning & Execution

• Leverage ServiceNow and MS365 tools to develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
• Drive execution using disciplined lifecycle management (initiate, plan, execute, monitor, close)
• Develop and maintain integrated plans across multiple workstreams

Stakeholder Engagement

• Serve as primary liaison between IT, business stakeholders, leadership, and supporting teams
• Communicate project objectives, status, risks, and dependencies clearly and consistently

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate risks; maintain RAID logs
• Proactively resolve issues to minimize impact to scope, schedule, and quality

Budget & Resource Management

• Monitor budget, funding, and resource utilization
• Balance competing constraints including scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk

Change Management

• Support organizational transformation through structured change management practices to drive adoption and minimize disruption

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Vendor Collaboration

• Partner with technical teams, business units, and external vendors to ensure seamless delivery and integration within overall project timelines and governance frameworks
• Ensure seamless integration, testing, and deployment of solutions

Solution Delivery Oversight

• Apply structured planning for workflow, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and form based objects, guiding progression from functional design through build, testing and deployment

AI & Agentic Process Awareness

• Apply general knowledge of AI-enabled tools and agentic workflows
• Support initiatives incorporating automation, digital assistants, and AI-driven processes where applicable
• Collaborate with technical teams to integrate AI agents into project delivery and operational workflows

Qualification And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, required
• 8–12 years of experience as a Project Manager within a PMO/DPMO delivering a variety of initiatives (ERP, M&A, digital transformation, continuous improvement), required
• Experience with ServiceNow, MS Project, Jira, or other PPM tools for planning, financials, scheduling, and work management, preferred
• General understanding of AI agents, automation, and agentic workflows, preferred
• Ability to foster collaboration and accountability across cross-functional teams
• Strong presentation skills with clear and concise communication of plans and status
• Ability to work in US hours, required
• PMP certification, preferred
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills, required
• Awareness of multiple project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid, etc.) and ability to apply them effectively
