Job summary

ACDI - Karnataka in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to coordinate cross‑organizational programs powering in‑store technology for Amazon's grocery network. You will drive planning, execution, and delivery of complex initiatives that affect multiple engineering teams and business partners.

You will define scope, milestones, and success metrics, manage risks and dependencies, and communicate roadmaps to executives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Drive planning, execution, and delivery of complex programs spanning multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Define scope, milestones, and success criteria with engineering, product, and operations leaders.
• Identify cross-team dependencies, risks, blockers; keep programs on track.

Key job responsibilities

The Technical Program Manager will drive the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical programs that span multiple engineering teams, business stakeholders, and organizational boundaries. This includes defining program scope, milestones, and success criteria in partnership with engineering, product, and operations leaders, as well as identifying and managing cross-team dependencies, risks, and blockers to keep programs on track. The role requires facilitating alignment across distributed teams to ensure technical solutions meet the needs of in-store team members, developing executive-level communications and program roadmaps, and partnering with engineering teams to understand system architecture, technical constraints, and integration points across services. The Technical Program Manager will also establish and improve program management processes that scale with organizational growth, and drive continuous improvement through post-launch metrics tracking and retrospectives.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
• 3+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
