• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of 4G/5G RAN development programs.

• Define program scope, milestones, schedules, dependencies, and release plans.
• Track deliverables, budgets, risks, issues, and resources for on-time delivery.
• Drive technical reviews, architecture discussions, design reviews, and release readiness.
• Coordinate with customers, product, architecture, engineering, QA, and operations.
• Monitor KPIs, quality metrics, defect trends, and performance objectives.
• Ensure compliance with Agile/Scrum practices and SDLC governance.
• Provide regular executive status updates and escalation management.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead end-to-end delivery of LTE and 5G NR Radio Access Network (RAN) programs. The TPM will be responsible for planning, execution, cross-functional coordination, risk management, and successful delivery of RAN software across Layer 1 (PHY), Layer 2 (MAC/RLC/PDCP), Layer 3 (RRC/NGAP/XnAP), OAM, and Test & Validation teams. The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with excellent program management and stakeholder management skills.

• Manage cross-functional teams across L1, L2, L3, OAM, Test & Validation, Test Automation, System Engineering, and DevOps.
• Define program scope, milestones, schedules, dependencies, and release plans.
• Track deliverables, budgets, risks, issues, and resource utilization to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
• Drive technical reviews, architecture discussions, design reviews, and release readiness.
• Coordinate with customers, product management, architecture, engineering, QA, and operations teams.
• Monitor program KPIs, quality metrics, defect trends, and performance objectives.
• Ensure compliance with Agile/Scrum practices, SDLC processes, and engineering governance.
• Provide regular executive status updates, escalation management, and stakeholder communication

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of LTE and 5G NR RAN architecture, including PHY, MAC, RLC, PDCP, RRC, NGAP/XnAP, and OAM.
• Strong knowledge of 3GPP LTE and 5G NR standards and RAN development lifecycle.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, release planning, risk management, and program governance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage distributed engineering teams and multiple concurrent workstreams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering eNodeB (eNB) or gNodeB (gNB) software programs.
• Exposure to vRAN, Open RAN, Cloud RAN, virtualization, and Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Experience working with global customers, product organizations, or telecom equipment vendors.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent certification is an advantage.
