Job summary

The World Health Organization is seeking a Technical Officer (Health System Strengthening for Immunization) based in New Delhi, India. You will support countries to improve routine immunization coverage, analyze barriers, and develop and monitor operational plans.

Job description

Technical Officer (Hlth Sys. Strengthening for Immunization) at WHO. Grade: P-3. Location: New Delhi, India. Application deadline: 1 October 2026. Under the direct supervision of Coordinator, IVD overall guidance of HDC, the incumbent will perform the following duties: .

• -Support countries with actions for routine immunization coverage improvements, including an analysis of the cause of low coverage and development, implementation, and monitoring of operational plans to overcome the barriers to achieve high immunization coverage.
• -Develop guidelines and facilitate training activities related to immunization and vaccine preventable disease control.
• -Technical assistance to countries for overall immunization policy development as well as development of costed multi-year plans for immunization.
