Cisco is seeking an experienced Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) specializing in NX-OS architectures and AI networking to join our team. You will contribute to Nexus 9000 data center solutions, drive technical collateral, and engage with customers to showcase value across DC architectures and AI-enabled networking.

The role bridges engineering, sales, and marketing, requiring strong technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and customer-facing communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field.
• 10–12 years of experience in technical marketing, product engineering, pre‑sales engineering, or a related technical role.

Responsabilités

• Act as a technical expert for NX-OS architectures including NDFC and Nexus Dashboard networking products.
• Collaborate with major customers and Sales teams to understand Data Center Network Fabric requirements.
• Partner with engineering and product management to define and refine product requirements and solutions.
• Develop and execute the technical strategy for NX-OS including Nexus Dashboard, focusing on AI‑driven automation and AIOps.
• Provide technical training, demonstrations, and support to internal teams, partners, and customers.
• Represent the team and lead technical Deceptive sessions at Cisco and Industry events.

Your Impact

As a NX-OS Networking Technical Marketing Engineer, you will bridge the gap between our engineering, sales, and marketing teams. You will play a pivotal role in driving product adoption by demonstrating technical expertise, creating impactful marketing collateral, and engaging with customers to showcase the value of our Nexus offering for all Data Center Architectures include AI networking solutions. This hands‑on role requires a good degree technical proficiency, marketing strategy, and customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities

This multifaceted role offers an opportunity to influence product direction while working closely with strategic customers and partners on next‑generation data center solutions.

Technical Expertise And Enablement

• Act as a technical expert for NX-OS architectures include NDFC, Nexus Dashboard networking products and solutions.
• Collaborate with major customers and Sales teams to understand and fulfill their Data Center Network Fabric requirements.
• Partner with engineering and product management to define and refine product requirements and solutions.
• Develop and execute the technical strategy for NX-OS include Nexus Dashboard, focusing on AI‑driven automation and AIOps.
• Provide technical training, demonstrations, and support to internal teams, partners, and customers.
• Represent the team & lead technical Deceptive sessions at large Cisco and Industry events

Marketing And Content Creation

• Develop technical marketing collateral, including white papers, solution briefs, case studies, technical presentations, and videos.
• Write and present thought leadership content, such as blog posts, webinars, and conference presentations.
• Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to define messaging and positioning for DC networking solutions.

Customer Engagement

• Work closely with customers to understand their use cases, gather feedback, and demonstrate product capabilities.
• Partner with the sales team to support pre‑sales efforts, including delivering proof‑of‑concept (POC) demonstrations and addressing technical queries.

Solution Development

• Develop and showcase real‑world use cases and demos to highlight DC networking capabilities.
• Partner with the engineering team to provide feedback for continuous product improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 10‑12 years of experience in technical marketing, product Engineering, pre‑sales engineering, or a related technical role.
• Expertise in DC networking technologies like VxLAN, cloud, virtualization and knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, ISIS, including high‑performance computing (HPC), RDMA, Ethernet etc
• Experience in working with various software defined network controllers, ansible and other automation technologies.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and hardware (e.g., switches, NICs, DPUs).
• Ability to tackle sophisticated problems creatively. Good verbal and writing skills. Able to create white papers for publishing on Cisco’s website. Must be a great teammate and work well in small and large group environments. Comfortable presenting to customers and Cisco employees.
