ACL Digital is seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Lead to drive multiple projects with hands-on coding in C/C++, C++, and Python. The role includes leading a small team, customer interactions, and full SDLC ownership across hardware-near software on varied platforms.
The candidate will work with RTOS-based environments, drive design reviews, and mentor juniors while delivering high-quality IoT solutions for diverse domains.

Full knowledge of the entire SDLC - Requirement, Design, Development, Reviews, Testing, Deployment, Bug Fixing
Review & Documentation - PRS, Design, Test Plan/Test Cases

Proficiency in programming languages such as embedded C and assembly language
Strong experience with embedded operating systems such as FreeRTOS, ThreadX, Zephyr, Green Hills Integrity etc.
Strong expertise in microcontroller programming without operating systems (bare metal programming)
Expertise and working experience in protocols like Zigbee, TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT, HTTP, RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI, CAN,
GSM, GPRS
Cloud interfacing will be an added advantage. Interfacing with cloud like AWS, Microsoft Azure, IBM, Watson, Ayla
cloud, Everything cloud
Strong project execution track record with controllers like PIC, ST, Atmel, Renesas, and TI
Experience with architectures like ARM series processors, Cortex-A series, and other general-purpose
microcontrollers
Debugging software issues over Microcontroller using real-time debugging tools like JTAG, and J-Link
Strong Application development work in User space API development, middleware libraries development, and
system calls
Experience with tools such as Logic Analyzer and Digital Storage Oscilloscope (DSO) will be an added advantage
BSP, NDK and SDK prior work done shall be an added advantage
The ability to understand hardware schematics will be an added advantage
Hands-on experience in Industrial IoT, medical, power domain, automotive, and home automation products
Programming Languages: C, Cpp and Python, Assembly
OOPS Programming languages, data structure, and design pattern C++
Strong project execution track record with controllers like PIC, ST, Atmel, and TI
Hands-on with application and low-level device driver development on microcontrollers running RTOS
Understanding of data acquisition systems with sensor interfaces
Knowledge of Interfaces: PCIE, USB, I2C, SPI, MDIO
Hardware schematics understanding, peripherals debugging, and board bring-up
Debugging tools: logic analyzer, digital oscilloscope, JTAG, KGDB, JDB, and J-Link
Experience with embedded operating systems FreeRTOS, ThreadX, Zephyr, Green Hills Integrity etc.
Knowledge of Interfaces: CAN, HTTP, MQTT, Rest API
Network Protocols: Z-Wave, Zigbee, Matter, Thread, WiFi-802.11, BLE
Cloud communication: AWS or Azure or customer cloud
Expertise in at least one technology Wi-Fi/ audio/video/display/Camera.
Understanding of any Industrial protocols like Ethernet, and Modbus.
Direct customer (US or Europe-based) interactions for delivery management
Write high-quality, efficient, extensible, and maintainable code in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Participate in feature and design discussions within and across teams
Evangelize and inform with well-written design documents and conduct peer reviews
Review code, develop documentation and capacity plans, and debug the hardest problems live on some of the
