Haleon in Bengaluru seeks a Technical Lead – Formulations & Packaging Technologies to provide hands-on technical leadership for formulation and packaging data digitization within the Starlink program. You will translate scientific requirements into detailed technical designs, configurations, and data structures, and support solution builds.
You will enable SAP S/4HANA IPD, ensure scalable and compliant data flows, and collaborate with product managers, experts, architects, vendors, and global
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Packaging Technology, or related discipline.
- 6–9 years of experience supporting digital solutions for R&D formulation and/or packaging systems.
- Hands-on experience digitizing formulation and packaging data.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA IPD (configuration, integration, or delivery support).
- Understanding of R&D formulation and packaging processes.
- Experience in regulated (GxP) environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication and ability to work with global teams.

TheTechnical Lead – Formulations & Packaging Technologiesprovideshands ontechnical leadershipto support thedigitizationofformulation, ingredient, substance, and packaging dataacross Haleon R&D.
- Provide handson technical leadership forformulation and packaging systemswithin the Starlinkprogram.
- Translate business and scientific requirements intodetailed technical designs, configurations, and data structures.
- Support solution build and configuration activities delivered by internal teams and vendors.
- Ensure technical solutions arescalable, maintainable, and aligned to standards.
- Supportdigitizationandharmonizationof:
- Formulation compositions and structures
- Ingredient and substance data
- Packaging specifications and attributes
- Ensure structured,high qualitydata enablingtraceability from substance → formulation → packaging → SKU.
- Support data migration, validation, and quality assurance activities.
- Providehands ontechnical support forSAP S/4HANA IPDrelated to formulation and packaging.
- Contribute to design and configuration aligned toIPD data models and processes.
- Support integration betweenIPD, Starlink platforms, and other R&D systems.
- Work under architectural guidance to ensure alignment with the broader S/4HANAprogram
- Review and supportconfiguration and build activitiesacross formulation and packaging systems.
- Support integration testing and defect resolution across connected platforms.
- Assistwithrelease planning, deployment readiness, andpost releasevalidation.
- Work closely with Testing and DevOps teams to ensure quality and stability.
- Execute technical activities in line withGxP, validation, and security requirements.
- Support preparation oftechnical documentation, design artefacts, andvalidationevidence.
- Identifytechnical risks and escalaji appropriately.
- Work closely with:
Product Managers (priorities and roadmap)
Product Experts (scientific and packaging requirements)
Architects (design standards and guardrails)
Vendors and delivery partners
- Act as a reliable technical point of contact for formulation and packaging technologies.
- Degree inEngineering, Computer Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Packaging Technology, or related discipline.
- 6–9 years of experiencesupporting digital solutions forR&D formulation and/or packaging systems.
- Handson experience indigitizingformulation and packaging data.
- Practical experience working withSAP S/4HANA IPD(configuration, integration, or delivery support).
- Understanding ofR&D formulation and packaging processes.
- Experience working inregulated (GxP) environments.
- Strong analytical andproblem-solvingskills.

- Experience inLife Sciences or Consumer Health R&D.
