Job summary

Birlasoft ( India ) Limited in Pune is seeking a Windchill Test Lead to drive testing of PTC Windchill PLM systems, ensuring accuracy, performance and compliance with business requirements. Previous Windchill experience required.

You will create test plans, execute test cases, identify defects, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to maintain quality across upgrades and migrations, using Selenium automation, SQL, and rigorous documentation in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Windchill PLM testing or similar QA roles.
• Hands-on Windchill PLM testing with PDMLink, Project Link, Quality Management and Change Management.
• Automation testing experience with Selenium.
• Knowledge of SQL and scripting for test data.
• Experience with test management and QA methodologies.

Responsibilities

Windchill Test Lead

Role Overview

The Windchill Test Lead is responsible for testing and validating PTC Windchill PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems to ensure functionality, performance, and compliance with business requirements. This role involves creating test plans, executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain system quality and reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with PTC Windchill PLM (PDMLink, Project Link, Quality Management, Change Management).
• Must have Automation Testing experience with Selenium.
• Knowledge of PLM concepts: CAD data, BOM, workflows, and product structures.
• Familiarity with SQL, test automation tools, and scripting.
• Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.
• Experience in Upgrade and Migration Testing.
• Experience in manual and automated testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Team bonding and positive attitude.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to ThingWorx, PartsLink, or Supplier Management modules.
